AppStore to come on Monday, 9 of June.

Accordingly to CNET “The era of officially-sanctioned iPhone applications should kick off on Monday”.

The same day Steve Jobs is expected to officially unveil the next version of iPhone at WorldWide Developer Conference.

The AppStore is going to be the only official source for third-party iPhone applications. Developers have been submitting their software to Apple for testing and verification since iPhone SDK became available. Apple will take 30 percent of the revenue generating by sales of these applications.

It's supposed, that software from AppStore will work both on the current version of iPhone and very expected 3G version which should debut on WWDC too, but it could be unveiled a little bit later.
